CO-CEO & FINANCIAL ADVISOR
515-269-3034

In 2023, he co-founded the firm alongside Co-CEO Kole Petersen and COO Baileigh Ashbrook, driven by a desire to build a comprehensive, independent advisory practice focused on long-term financial clarity.

Cole is fueled by helping clients take a disciplined, strategic approach to investing, saving, and planning for their financial futures. He brings an entrepreneurial mindset and deep analytical focus to every client relationship, guiding individuals, business owners, and retirees through complex financial decisions with confidence. His work centers on retirement planning, tax-efficient strategies, and estate coordination — with a strong emphasis on seeking to protect wealth, minimize unnecessary taxes, and creating durable long-term plans. Cole began his career in financial services in 2017 and became an independent advisor in 2022 before helping launch Full Swing Financial Planning.

He is known for his structured planning process, forward-looking perspective, and ability to identify risks and opportunities before they materially impact a client’s financial future. Cole holds the Series 7 and Series 66 securities licenses through LPL Financial, along with life, health, and accident insurance licenses in multiple states, including Iowa. Beyond his advisory work,

Cole co-hosts the podcast How to Money with Cole & Baileigh, where he breaks down financial strategies, disciplined investing principles, and practical wealth-building conversations designed to help families and business owners make informed, confident decisions.

Cole has a lifelong passion for sports and remains actively involved through playing, watching, and coaching. Following a successful collegiate quarterback career at Upper Iowa University, he earned an invitation to NFL tryouts and attended the Carolina Panthers rookie camp — experiences that shaped the discipline and competitive mindset he brings to his work today. He and his wife, Chelsie, have two sons, Cael and Canton. Outside the office, he enjoys staying active and spending time with his family.

Quote: "When someone tells you something is "Impossible," what that really means is that it would take more sacrifice, grit, discipline, failure, and persistence then they are willing to give."
